This detached Chalet is in a quiet position with panoramic views of the mountains.
Vehicular access to the chalet is possible when there is no snow and there is a ‘private’ parking place just below the chalet. When there is snow, there is a garage, where we also have a machine to transport luggage up to the chalet, which is a 5-10 minute walk up the hill.
It can easily sleep 8, ideal for 2 groups wanting some privacy.
This chalet is owned by an English family with two boys so has been furnished and equipped to meet our needs - it is a family home so we ask that visitors treat our home as they would expect others to treat their home.
There is a terrace with BBQ and a balcony, all south facing. The layout of the chalet makes it ideal for two families or sensible groups of friends to share.
On the main living level, there are 2 bedrooms which sleep 4. The living room has a wood burner, sofas, TV/DVD and a large dining table with panoramic views of the mountains from the windows. There is a large balcony accessed by double doors from this room.
It has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The bathroom is newly fitted with a corner ‘shower bath‘.
Upstairs has a separate access, where there is a double bedroom and a further area with 2 single beds and a ’lounge’ area with a sofa and TV and breakfast making facilities. Upstairs has it’s own toilet, washbasin and shower.
There are dvds/videos/books/games and toys, yes many are in english but some can be seen as educational tools, or the language can be changed on the dvds.
There is a large patio in front of the chalet with a static barbecue and once again breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. There is a cellar at this level where we store garden furniture, sledges etc and there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
This depends on how active or inactive you are and obviously the time of year, but whatever the month the wonderful view remains the same and many an hour can be spent just sitting and looking at the scenery.
Winter doesn’t just mean skiing, snowboarding and sledging, there are still lovely walks and places to visit.
The chalet is about 15-20 minutes walk from Twing - we leave our skis and boots there, and arrive warmed up ready for a day's skiing.
Others may prefer to drive by car to Twing or Reuti or catch the Postauto from Goldern.
There are 3 restaurants/bars and one shop within a 15-20 minute walk, but there are no discos or other noisy intrusions into this wonderful area of peace, calm and beauty.

The visitors tax is to be paid at the tourist information in Twing, by the cable car.

Direction of Goldern and Reuti, turn left at road between Chaletbau Anderegg and the Schreinerei von |Bergen, follow small road to 3 garages - ours is on extreme left. Take small track on left up to chalet, pass farm on right , walk up to small car bridge, track to right just before, parking place for 2 cars by small foot bridge, climb steps up to chalet.
